Food is prepared and cooked to a watching audience, with tips, history, background and nutritional information. The emphasis being on seasonal food largely produced/sourced within Cowal.

The demonstration will be punctuated with evocative food poetry & Prose performed to enhance the ‘food experience’ The material and performance underlines the emotional and sensual relationship that we all have with food. Through the demonstration the audience will see and how our experience with food inspires art. The poetry includes a mixture of local/national & internationally know poets.

Children’s interactive cookery demonstration with themed performance based around Lewis Carolls Alice in Wonderland, a ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’. The emphasis will be on food, awareness and healthy living drawing on the type of food produced and available locally. A wonderful menu will be created before their eyes, involving the audience actively to have fun with food and be aware of food as a stimulus for expressive art, indeed the inspiration for many great artists and performers, like Lewis Carroll.
