Training Courses 2010
Powerful presenting workshops
Next Day 13 May Glasgow
Hilary Robertson and Sadie Dixon-Spain will be running presentation skills workshops in Glasgow and Edinburgh in the first few months of 2010.
“If you are already an experienced presenter but would like to refine and develop your skills and style for greater presence and impact, this one-day, highly interactive event is the workshop for you.
Communication specialist Hilary Robertson has teamed up with the incomparable Sadie Dixon-Spain, co-founder of the Walking Theatre Company to bring you a day of practical tips and exercises to hone your skills and allow you to step up to the next level of presenting. The day will explore why some approaches appeal to audiences and make a lasting impact while others don’t. Participants will critically examine their current presenting style and identify areas to work on; for example, voice, breathing, body language. The focus will be on new techniques to improve the quality and impact of your presentations and new approaches to engaging the audience. Practice presentations will be recorded to provide you with a lasting reference.
Because of the intensive nature of the workshop, places will be strictly limited.
The workshop cost of £295 + VAT for private sector organisations or £245 + VAT for public sector organisations/individuals covers all course materials including video recording, refreshments and lunch.
Book securely online now at www.communicatethat.com/events_1.html or call 0131-208 2701.”
